Comprehensive Plan

The City’s Comprehensive Plan – Adopted January 2026

The City of Brady City Council formally adopted a comprehensive plan that will assist the city staff along with our citizens in various capacities  over the next 15 years to plan, focus and achieve identified goals and desires for our community.

A well-developed Comprehensive Plan encourages a shift from reactive to proactive governance, ensure wise use of public resources, and clarify expectations for growth.

The Process:

The Plan took  about 16 months to develop and is summarized below:

October 29, 2024: Concepts & Basics of Fiscal Sustainability Presentation

Introduce the relationship between policy and budget and growth, services, and infrastructure.


November 19, 2024: Virtual Workshop- Visioning

Zoom, virtual meeting, 5 p.m.

Review and discuss visioning for the City


January 21, 2025: Brady's Fiscal Sustainability Picture

Zoom, virtual meeting, 4:15 p.m.

Review and discuss the results of the fiscal analysis for Brady.
